We made the decision to focus on our straight Egyptian horses and offer our remaining pure bred mares Muna (FA Wanis x El-Jahrousse) and El-Jahrousse (La Mirage x Rifala) for sale.
Meanwhile Muna has sold to a great family home in France and El-Jahrousse to a breeder in Belgium.
They were the descendants of our first foundation mare Calypta (Varallo x Rapello HT). Acquired in 1987 she was a pure bred Arabian mare of Russian, Polish and Crabbet bloodlines. She produced several lovely foals and her daughter Rifala (by the Crabbet stallion Sheer Insouciance) was retained for future breeding.
Especially for Rifala we later acquired La Mirage, a Salaa El Dine son of Egyptian x Russian bloodlines. This combination resulted in their daugher El-Jahrousse. From El-Jahrousse we bred Muna, a magnificient filly by the straight Egyptian stallion FA Wanis.
